in me·di·as res (adverb)
Definition of IN MEDIAS RES
: in or into the middle of a narrative or plot
I struggled greatly to know how to begin this conversation of schooling my girls at home. Chronologically seemed best but exhausting to retrace our steps from the last 3. So we begin in the present- in medias res- right in the middle of the action.
Today I find myself considering our school week- trying to balance my hopes of what I would love to accomplish verses our reality- we have Bible Study on Tuesday, a field trip on Wednesday, our last Fall CC on Thursday and a potential CC skate party on Friday. We are a week "behind" our schedule of My Father's World and coming off a short last week as we headed to the country.
But this is where we are.... my reality with my 3 little Marys.
